Tourisme Baie-James is the regional tourism association for the Baie-James territory and a delivery partner for the 2025-2027 Regional Partnership and Digital Transformation Agreement for Tourism. The agreement brings together Quebec s Ministry of Tourism, Tourisme Baie-James, the Administration regionale Baie-James and the Societe de developpement de la Baie-James to financially support and accompany tourism businesses in their development and growth through a responsible and sustainable approach. Linked streams cover accommodations, attractions, activities and equipment, festivals and events, studies and consulting services, digital development and structuring the regional tourism offer. In the funding ecosystem, Tourisme Baie-James is a regional intermediary that helps provincial tourism dollars reach local promoters. Its role is important in northern and remote tourism markets where operators need patient support for modernization, market readiness, sustainable practices and destination-building across a large territory.
