Who is eligible?
- Agricultural operations.
- CUMA cooperatives.
- Agricultural operations with plant, maple, or apicultural production.
- Agro-processors, for certain agricultural residual material projects.

- Depending on the measure, purchase or modification of eligible equipment
- Rental of eligible material or equipment
- Professional fees
- Purchase of materials for eligible infrastructure
- Transport and delivery costs for equipment and materials
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- For measure 1.2.6, exogenous plant residues outside the agricultural environment are not eligible.
- For measure 1.2.6, growing substrates, potting soils, and silage leachate are not eligible.
- For measure 1.2.6, projects related to the production, processing, sale, or service of recreational cannabis products, or products not approved by Health Canada, are not eligible.
- For measure 1.2.6, costs not directly related to the project are not eligible, including current operating charges and GST or QST.
- For measure 1.2.6, building or land acquisition costs, usual production infrastructure or equipment, spreading equipment, and input-purchase costs are not eligible.

Processing and Agreement
- Only complete applications that include all mandatory documents are processed.
- If an application is accepted, eligible expenses incurred on or after April 1, 2026 may be considered.
- After the funding agreement is signed, the applicant receives the claim form required for reimbursement.
- At project completion, applicants must submit the required deliverables for their component, which can include attestations, invoices, proof of payment on request, photos, and result forms.
- An applicant may request a review of an evaluation decision within 30 days of the date it was communicated.
