Who is eligible?
- Farm operations.
Eligible expenses
- Professional fees.
- Labour, except that of the farm operation or agro-processor.
- Purchase of materials, new equipment, and rental of materials or equipment.
- Purchase of materials for infrastructure, plus transport and delivery of equipment and materials.
- Specific maple-wastewater items such as lave-pannes, réservoir de stockage du filtrat, chauffe-eau/serpentin, inverseur de coulée, appareil pH-mètre, équipement pour le rééquilibrage du pH, infrastructure et équipement de traitement d’eau, système de pompage, équipement de distribution et de dispersion pour la valorisation, and implantation d’aménagements et d’équipements pour rejet au milieu hydrique ou pour infiltration dans le sol.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Expenses not directly related to the project, applicant travel costs, and professional fees for preparing the application form or the diagnostic.
- Permits, licences, or authorizations; usual production equipment; cost overruns used to seek additional funding; and expenses incurred before 1 April 2026, except eligible professional fees for plans, drawings, or operating specifications if the application is accepted.
- Expenses financed through instalment sale or lease agreements, debt service, future loan repayment, capital replacement, and current operating charges, including normal maintenance.
- Building purchases, land acquisition, self-propelled equipment other than windrow turners in eligible residue projects, expenses eligible under Programme services-conseils 2023-2028, and expenses paid to ineligible subcontractors registered in RENA or in default after formal notice.

Selection criteria
- For sub-volet 1.2, the project must include a majority of admissible agricultural residual materials; otherwise it is refused on the basis of coherence with the sub-volet objective.
How to apply
- Complete the required application form.
- Attach the diagnostic and the detailed project description.
- Send the complete application package by email to Prime-Vert@mapaq.gouv.qc.ca.
Processing and Agreement
- At the end of the project, submit the claim form.
- For infrastructure, storage and treatment systems, provide a conformity attestation signed by an engineer or counsellor, depending on the project type.
- For equipment and arrangements, provide an implementation attestation with photos signed by a counsellor.
- Invoices and proof of payment may be requested.
- For irrigation equipment projects, a signed lease of three years or more is required when applicable.
