Overview

The SODEXPORT – Component 4: International Relations program provides grant funding to support Quebec cultural enterprises engaging in international cooperation initiatives and activities that enhance the recognition of Quebec’s cultural industries abroad. There is no specified maximum funding amount; eligible activities include projects that foster international collaboration, increase media recognition, and support participation in excellence awards related to export achievements.

Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a Quebec-based cultural company in the fields of audiovisual, music and variety shows, book and publishing, arts and crafts, the art market, or interactive works in these domains.
  • The company must meet SODEC's Quebec ownership requirements for its sector.
  • The head office must be located in Quebec, serving as the decision-making and management center.
  • Eligible applicants include for-profit businesses (including sole proprietorships), non-profit organizations, cooperatives, Quebec-based business consortiums, and sectoral associations of cultural enterprises.
  • The project must support international cooperation, enhance the recognition of Quebec's cultural industries abroad, or contribute to the international strengthening of relationships in line with SODEC's orientations.

  • Priority given to projects involving countries with established cooperation agreements with Quebec.
