- Quebec distribution companies or sales agents.
- Quebec production companies.
Eligible expenses
- International transport of the director and one lead actor in economy.
- Accommodation and local transport of the director and one lead actor.
- Promotion, press and advertising directly linked to the project release in the targeted territory.
- Dubbing and subtitling in languages other than French and English, up to 3,000 $.

- The film’s release strategy.
- The targeted territories and their alignment with SODEC’s preferred territories.
- The size and potential of the targeted markets, including the type and number of platforms, screens, and cities.
- Forecasts of admissions, views, paid downloads, or paid acquisitions.
- The film’s ability to reach its audience.
How to apply
- Create your user profile if you are a new user, or enter your access codes.
- On your first connection to SOD@ccès, complete the company master file.
- Choose program number 40-50-02-04 for this stream.
- Prepare the documents to upload in SOD@ccès before submitting, then complete the application form, answer the specific questions, and upload the required documents through the secure SOD@ccès portal.
- Submit the application at least 14 days before the start of activities.
Processing and Agreement
- Only complete and compliant applications are analyzed.
- SODEC reviews each application and takes its financial availability into account when deciding on support.
