How to apply

  • Step 1: Prepare the application package
    • Complete the financial plan template.

    • Log in to the secure SOD@ccès portal.
    • Select the correct program code for the tour component.

    • Wait for SODEC to review the application.
    • If approved, sign the financial assistance agreement.
    • Submit the final report at the end of the project period.

Processing and Agreement

  • Projects are assessed on relevance, financial risk, and cost realism.
  • If approved, a funding agreement is signed before payment.
  • Payment is made in two instalments: 70% at agreement signature and 30% after the final report is accepted.

  • Applications can be submitted at any time, but must be filed at least 28 days before the start of the tour.
  • The maximum support per tour is $25,000, and a maximum of $50,000 per artist or group per SODEC fiscal year.
  • Total cumulative government support for a tour may not exceed 100% of the total tour costs.
