Activities funded

  • Participation in international festivals and prestigious award events outside Quebec for selected Quebec film, television, or interactive works.
  • Festival and award projects listed in Annex A, or non-listed events when relevance and international circuit role can be demonstrated.

Documents Needed

  • Letter of invitation or confirmation of selection to the event.
  • Detailed project budget, including a detailed financing structure.
  • The applicant company's declaration.
  • SODEC master file documents requested on the first SOD@ccès application, including the description of activities and achievements, constitutive documents, shareholder and director identification form, organizational chart, CVs of managers, financial statements for the last two completed fiscal years, and power of attorney if applicable.

  • Quebec production, distribution, or sales companies for the selected Quebec film, television, or interactive work.

Eligible expenses

  • Local and international economy transport for eligible participants, depending on the work type.
  • Accommodation for the people eligible for transport, depending on the work type.
  • Accreditation fees when not offered by the festival.
  • Promotion, press and publicity costs, including traditional and digital activities.
  • Subtitling, copy transfer or transport, third-language subtitling when required, and networking fees.

How to apply

  • Create your user profile in SOD@ccès if you are a new user, or enter your access codes.
  • On your first connection, complete the company master file.
  • Choose program number 40-50-02-03, answer the specific questions in the form, and upload the required documents.
  • Submit the application through the secure SOD@ccès portal.

Processing and Agreement

  • The SODEC analyzes received applications and may use external opinions if needed.
  • 70% of the aid is paid when the financial assistance agreement is signed.
  • The remaining 30% is paid at the end of the activities, after the final report is submitted and accepted.
  • The final report must be submitted within 3 months after the event and include an activity report and a financial report.
  • The SODEC may request supporting documents to analyze the final report.
