SODEXPORT — Component 3

• The applicant must be a cultural enterprise established in Quebec.
• The company must operate in one of the following sectors: audiovisual, music and variety shows, book and publishing, crafts and art market, or interactive works within these fields.
• The applicant must meet SODEC’s Quebec ownership requirements for its sector.
• The organization can be a for-profit company (including sole proprietorship), non-profit organization, cooperative, consortium of Quebec companies, or a sectoral association of cultural enterprises.
• The applicant must have fulfilled all previous obligations to SODEC when applicable.

Who is eligible?

• Companies operating in the audiovisual sector
• Companies involved in music and variety shows
• Book and publishing sector companies
• Companies in the crafts and art market
• Enterprises producing interactive works within these fields

Eligible expenses

• Organization costs for collective stands at international markets and fairs.
• Expenses related to increasing the visibility of Quebec cultural works and products at events abroad.

Eligible geographic areas

• Companies whose head office is located in Quebec.

• The usefulness of the proposed activity in increasing the visibility of Quebec’s cultural production abroad.
• Ability of the operator to include all eligible businesses in collective stands, as outlined in participation protocols.

• Applications for this component can be submitted at any time throughout the year.
• Requests must be submitted electronically via the SOD@ccès secure portal.
• All required documents must be current, complete, and signed by authorized individuals when applicable.
• Only complete and compliant applications will be assessed; incomplete submissions by the deadline will be deemed inadmissible and must be resubmitted.
