Additional information
- The list of eligible vehicles is regularly updated based on information provided by automakers; only automakers can request the inclusion of new vehicles.
- The manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of eligible vehicles must be below $65,000.
- The eligibility of a vehicle is assessed by brand, model, version, and model year; not all versions or model years of a given vehicle are automatically eligible.
- The applicable financial assistance is subject to change; regularly consult program updates for potential modifications to rebate amounts and program conditions for 2025 and 2026.
- If the government rebate is not applied at the dealership, applicants can claim the rebate independently via the program’s online services.
- Dealers are not permitted to charge administration fees for applying the government rebate to the vehicle transaction.
- For demonstration vehicles, a specific maximum kilometrage applies for eligibility (10,000 km for most vehicles, 2,000 km for motorcycles, 1,000 km for scooters).
- The date of registration in your name is used to verify eligibility and rebate amount—not the date of purchase or order.
- The applicable taxes are calculated on the vehicle’s price before the government rebate is applied.
- Vehicles registered between February 1 and March 31, 2025, during the temporary program suspension, are not eligible for the subsidy.
