- Any reduction in financial assistance amounts for electric vehicles will take place gradually, with specific planned changes for the years 2025 and 2026.
- Eligible vehicles must have a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of less than $65,000 to qualify for the Roulez vert program.
- The eligibility of each vehicle model for the rebate depends on its year, version, and battery capacity, which should meet specific requirements.
- Administration fees cannot be charged by the dealer for processing the government rebate.
- The eligible vehicle must be registered for the first time in Québec and must not have been previously registered outside the province.
- The program requires a minimum registration period in Québec: 12 months for personal vehicle use and 36 months for vehicle fleet purchases.
- Online services for applying for the rebate and other program activities are provided only in French.
- An online account with Roulez vert must be created before applying for the rebate, using identification details matching the vehicle registration certificate.
