Who is not eligible

  • Businesses whose project start date is earlier than June 9, 2020, are not eligible.
  • For the Medium and Large Businesses component, projects involving demand response measures are not eligible under the Customized Option.
  • Projects for the agricultural market must generally be submitted under the Agricultural component; only if the efficient products, equipment or systems are not eligible there may they be submitted under the Customized Option, subject to Hydro-Québec’s prior approval.
  • Buildings connected to autonomous or municipal/cooperative networks are not eligible for demand response measures.
  • Businesses that do not meet the program’s specific rate requirements for the selected component cannot apply under that component.

  • Purchase and installation of energy-efficient equipment and systems to improve energy performance of commercial, institutional, or industrial buildings.
