grant_single_labels|otherInfo
- The charging station must remain in service for at least three years after receiving financial assistance.
- Recipients must ensure that residents have priority access to the charging stations, which may also be used by residents’ visitors.
- Applications must include photographs clearly showing each installed charging station and relevant parking spaces, as well as labels and any new electrical infrastructure.
- Proof of payment must: be in the applicant’s name and can include bank statements, credit card statements, or endorsed cheques.
- Invoices must include detailed information such as the applicant's name, building address, date of transaction, supplier’s contact information, and breakdown of costs.
- If you lease a charging station, the lease must have started after January 1, 2020.
- Fiscal calculations are based on the Government of Québec's fiscal year (April 1 to March 31). The submission date determines the relevant fiscal year for the grant.
- Expenses for work completed during the program’s temporary suspension (February 1 to March 31, 2025) are not eligible for reimbursement.
- The list of eligible charging stations is only available in French. Only stations on this list are admissible, and only manufacturers/distributors can request additions.
- Work involving 'oversizing' of electrical infrastructure is only an eligible expense if led by developers, owners, managers, or syndicates of co-owners.
- Professional fees and software/hardware costs related to energy management qualify as eligible expenses only for work completed after April 18, 2023.
- For applicants who are residents submitting on their own behalf, the application is linked to the electric vehicle registered in their name, and further financial assistance is not available if they move unless a new electric vehicle is purchased.
- Joint or cost-sharing applications require that only one party submits the full claim; costs divided among co-owners require each to submit their own reimbursement request if they have eligible vehicles.
- Supporting documents must verify all eligible expenses and be submitted with the application.
- Taxes (GST, QST) are not reimbursed and must not be included in the calculation of eligible expenses.
- Recommended installation guidelines to ensure accessibility for mobility-impaired individuals are available from Hydro-Québec (in French only).
