- The applicant company must be listed on the Registraire des entreprises du Québec.
- The company must possess the appropriate licences issued by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ) for the work being performed.
- For the installation of electric thermal storage (ETS) heating systems, the installer must be included on the list of Steffes-authorized companies (authorization may be verified on request if not listed).
- For central heat pumps, the installer must be a member of the relevant professional body associated with their activity sector.
- For geothermal heat pump projects, the contractor must be registered with the Registraire des entreprises du Québec and hold the appropriate RBQ licences for the required work.

- Participation eligibility: Companies must hold necessary certifications and permits for installing geothermal heat pumps or heat accumulators.
- Residence eligibility: Replacements must be in existing buildings located in Quebec, meant for residential purposes, habitable year-round, and powered by specific electricity networks.
- Geothermal Heat Pump: Must include one or more geothermal wells drilled vertically or horizontally, with the system meeting new, purchased, and installed requirements in an eligible residence.
- Accumulator of Heat with/without Central Heat Pump: Accumulator must be specific Steffes models or approved equivalent, programmed to limit heating during peak hours, and new, purchased, and installed in an eligible residence.
- Eligible measures and details, including for date, financial aid limits, and all associated terms and obligations, are described comprehensively within the participation guide and annex.
- Transmission deadline: Requests for financial aid must be submitted within nine months post-installation, or by September 30, 2024, for 2023 measures.
- Maximum Financial Aid: Cannot exceed 100% of the cost or $250,000 per dwelling over the program duration.
