The FABconstruction – Stream 2: Support for Productivity Enhancement grant offers reimbursable funding covering 50% of eligible costs, up to a maximum of $25,000. The program aims to increase productivity in the modular, prefabricated, and off-site construction sector in Quebec by supporting the implementation of advanced technologies, process optimization, and training activities.

Eligibility criteria of the FABconstruction – Stream 2 : Support for productivity enhancement program
- The applicant must operate in the modular, prefabricated, or off-site construction sector in Quebec.
- The applicant company must demonstrate a commitment to improving productivity through technological advancement, digitization, automation, or sustainable practices.
- The project should aim to integrate advanced approaches or technologies, such as BIM, DFMA, or industrial automation, in construction processes.
- Participation is limited to a specific number of companies per stream (Volet 1: 25 companies; Volet 2: 18 companies).

How to apply to the FABconstruction – Stream 2 : Support for productivity enhancement program
- Step 1: Online Registration
- Access the FABconstruction project’s online registration form.
- Complete the form with all required company and contact details.
- Submit the online form to express your interest in joining the project.
- Step 2: Preliminary Meeting
- After submission, participate in a preliminary meeting organized by the FABconstruction team to discuss your participation. This occurs within 72 hours if you are eligible.
- Step 3: Agreement and Payment (Stream 1)
- Sign the participation agreement provided by the program administrators.
- Process the required payment for Stream 1 services.
- Step 4: Diagnostic and Action Plan (Stream 1)
- Engage with the assigned experts for an on-site intervention.
- Collaborate on the assessment of your operational processes.
- Receive a customized and detailed action plan for productivity improvement.
- Step 5: Accompaniment Application and Contract (Stream 2)
- Submit the relevant quotations or proposals for the implementation phase.
- Undergo validation by the program administrators.
- Sign the contract for the accompaniment and productivity enhancement.
- Step 6: Project Implementation and Follow-up
- Begin the supported implementation activities as per the action plan (Stream 2).
- Benefit from up to 50% financial support on eligible costs, with a reimbursement cap of $25,000.
