Eligibility
- The business must be a legally eligible entity such as a private for-profit company, public government-affiliated organization, consortium of private businesses, non-profit organization, cooperative, or self-employed worker employing staff.
- The business must have a physical establishment in Québec.
- The business must be registered with the Québec Business Registry and be in compliance.
- The business must allow employees to attend French courses during paid working hours.
- Employees must be compensated according to their employment contracts during training.

- Private for-profit companies
- Public or government-affiliated organizations
- Consortiums of private for-profit businesses
- Non-profit organizations
- Cooperatives
- Self-employed workers who employ staff
- Groups of self-employed workers who employ staff
Who is not eligible
- Companies with 100 or more employees in Québec.
- Companies that are part of the public administration, including government ministries, public or semi-public organizations.
- Businesses not complying with Canadian or Québec legal frameworks, such as those violating labor standards or failing employer responsibilities.
- Businesses engaged in activities related to payday loans, check cashing, or pawn loans.
- Companies involved in the production, distribution, or sale of pornographic or sexually explicit content.
- Businesses involved in the adult industry, including exotic or erotic dancing, escort services, or erotic massage services.
- Organizations with operations halted due to a labor dispute (strike or lockout).
- Businesses not complying with the regulations of the Office québécois de la langue française (OQLF).
Eligible expenses
- Salaries of employees freed to participate in French courses during paid work hours, up to a maximum of $26 per hour, excluding employer-imposed social charges.
Eligible geographic areas
- Businesses with an establishment in Québec.
How to apply

Login or create a profile
- Access Arrima or create a business profile on the platform.
- Add multiple establishments to your business profile if necessary.
- Grant access to the profile to other staff members.
- Modify the profile information at any time.

Submission of support request
- Fill out and submit one or more online support requests.
- Access your Arrima account with your Quebec business number.
- Open the “My Requests” section and create a new support request.
- Select the establishment related to the request.
- Check the box “by inquiring about the French language training services offered to Quebec businesses by Francisation Quebec” in the corresponding section.

- A counselor from the Ministry of Immigration, Francization, and Integration will contact you by phone or email.
- Identify the company's needs regarding French language learning.
- Help determine the appropriate learning formula.
- Obtain information about the activities and training offered.
- Develop and implement the French language learning project for your company.
- Check eligibility for financial assistance.

Request for apprenticeship services
With the help of the advisor, fill out and submit the application for French language learning services in the workplace.
