Eligibility

  • The project must be eligible for funding under the main program (PSO, Innov-R, Partenar-IA Académique).
  • The research must focus on the reliability of electricity transmission, specifically for elements or installations operating at a voltage of 120 kV or more.
  • 100% of eligible expenses must be dedicated to research and innovation in the field of electricity transmission reliability.
  • The project must include a methodology for sharing results with the Régie de l'énergie and the targeted entities.
  • The project must not exceed a duration of 3 years.

How to apply

Preparation of the project proposal

  • Write a detailed description of the project related to the eligible research themes.
  • Include in the proposal the justification of its relevance to one or more of the research themes.

Completion of the necessary documents

  • Prepare and fill out the main program form as well as the specific annex for the Reliability program.
  • Accept the results-sharing approach in accordance with the mentioned requirements.

Submission of the request

  • Submit the funding application for both the main program and the Reliability program simultaneously to InnovÉÉ.
  • Email the completed application to Maxim Doucet (mdoucet@innovee.quebec) and Mathilde Boucher (mboucher@innovee.quebec) before midnight on the deadline date of the call.

  • The programme FiabilitÉÉ is offered in partnership with the Régie de l’énergie and InnovÉÉ.
  • The maximum funding from FiabilitÉÉ covers up to 40% of eligible expenses, with combined government financial assistance not exceeding 80% of the total eligible costs.

  • A report of research findings must be shared with the Régie de l’énergie and relevant entities, facilitating a broader dissemination of the results.
