Eligibility criteria of the Employers — FIT Project program
The eligibility criteria for companies applying for this grant are as follows:
- The company must have a position available.
- The company must offer a full-time job with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
- The company must operate in a region where the FIT project is offered.
- The company must be willing to hire an unemployed person who might not have all the required skills for the position.
- The company should aim for the sustainable integration of the individual into employment.
- The company must provide a structured and paid learning period in line with current salary conditions.
- The company is required to participate in meetings scheduled with the employment professional and the trainee.
- If necessary, the company must allow the trainee to attend training sessions outside the organization and adjust the work schedule accordingly.
Who is eligible?
Employers located in the regions of Centre-du-Québec, Chaudière-Appalaches, Montérégie, Montréal, and Québec who have a full-time position (minimum 30 hours per week) available and are willing to hire someone who is currently unemployed and may not possess all the required skills for the position are eligible to apply. Additionally, these employers must aim for sustainable integration into employment, provide a structured and paid learning period, and participate in scheduled meetings with employment professionals and the intern.
