Eligible expenses
- Purchase and installation costs of new renewable or electric heating systems replacing oil or propane systems (including associated equipment and components).
- Purchase and installation of new maple syrup production equipment required for the energy conversion measure (e.g. eligible evaporator and related systems), including dismantling of fossil-fuelled equipment.
- Purchase and installation of new CO₂ (R-744) centralized refrigeration systems for supermarkets and convenience stores, including heat recovery equipment.
- Purchase and installation of electrical heating equipment for greenhouses (partial or full electrification of existing fossil-fuel heating systems), including related electrical connection work (e.g. new electrical service entrance).
- Project-related expenses evidenced by supplier invoices directly tied to the implementation of the approved energy transition measures.

- Projects by large energy consumers.
- Measures not included in the simplified implementation list.
- Used evaporators for maple syrup conversion.
- Projects already submitted under Chauffez vert for the same heating conversion measure.
- Projects that must be directed to the standard implementation stream due to higher consumption or scope.

Processing and Agreement
- The program reviews the application and confirms whether the project is admissible.
- If accepted, the applicant receives the project registration date, the expense eligibility date, the maximum aid amount, and the payment request form by email.
- Once the work is completed and the documents are validated, the aid is recalculated and the final payment is sent.

- Projects must be completed within 24 months of a receivable application.
- Financial assistance is paid in a single instalment at project completion.
