  • Installing an electric or bioenergy evaporator in a new sugar bush or in a sugar bush that currently has no evaporator.
  • Replacing or installing an electric or bioenergy evaporator because production increased.
  • Replacing an electric or bioenergy evaporator with a newer or more efficient one.
  • Replacing a fossil-fuel evaporator with an electric or bioenergy evaporator on a site without a maple syrup quota.
  • Replacing a fossil-fuel evaporator with a used electric or bioenergy evaporator.

How to apply

  • Complete the ÉcoPerformance maple syrup producer application form in Excel, have it filled in electronically, dated, and signed by the authorized signatory, then send it by email with the required documents.

Processing and Agreement

  • If the project is admissible, you will receive by email the project registration date, the expense eligibility date, the maximum amount of financial assistance that can be awarded, and the payment request form.
  • After the documents are validated, the financial assistance is recalculated and the final payment is confirmed and sent.

Additional information

  • Professional engineer services are not required for this stream, and the energy savings and GHG reductions are predefined and prequantified.
