Côte-Nord Tourism — EPRTNT 2025-2026 – Attractions, Activities and Equipments

Who is eligible?

• For-profit tourism businesses.
• Non-profit tourism organizations.
• Tourism cooperatives.
• Municipal entities and groupings.
• Indigenous communities, nations and Indigenous tourism organizations or businesses.

Who is not eligible

• Crown corporations and departments or agencies of the governments of Quebec and Canada.
• Applicants listed in the Register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts.
• Businesses not compliant with the francization process of the Office québécois de la langue française.

Eligible expenses

• Construction, expansion, improvement, and modernization costs for tourism infrastructure, equipment, attractions, activities and services.
• Purchase and installation of specialized equipment, furniture, boats, rolling stock, and land or trail development.
• Professional fees, technical support, consulting, project management, and project preparation studies and plans.
• Land acquisition and related costs, surveying, quality control, net taxes, contingency, and artwork integration.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

• Business acquisition and its infrastructure.
• Promotion and marketing costs, including website redesign.
• Animals, administrative or retail equipment, and long-term rental of land or buildings.
• Working capital, debt service, operating losses, financing costs, legal fees, and lobbyist fees.
• In-kind contributions and costs incurred before application, except eligible project-preparation studies.

Eligible geographic areas

• Businesses and organizations doing business in Quebec, specifically in the Côte-Nord region.

• Alignment with the objectives of EPRTNT 2025-2027.
• Structuring impact, including attraction power, project scope, spin-offs, partnerships, job creation and season extension.
• Level of innovation and quality of the concept, products and services.
• Strength of the financial structure, market relevance, clientele potential and marketing strategy.
• Feasibility of the project and consideration of sustainable development principles.

• Step 3: Submit by email

• Financial assistance is a non-repayable contribution.
• Project assessment includes sustainable development considerations.
• Public tendering is required for construction contracts of $100,000 or more.
