Overview

Subsidy covering 70% of wages to hire summer students for 16 weeks (30 to 40 hours per week) in not-for-profit organizations.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for the Young Canada Works in Both Official Languages program, the employer must meet the following criteria: - Be a private, public, non-profit organization, or municipality. - Be incorporated. - Engage in national, provincial, territorial, municipal, or community activities. - Conduct activities in both official languages (English and French). - Be stable and financially healthy. Entities that are not eligible include federal departments, federal agencies, Crown Corporations, provincial or territorial government departments.
