Program Supporting the Development of Tourist Attractions — Stream 1

The eligibility criteria for this grant include the following: Eligible Clients: - For-profit businesses, non-profit organizations (NPOs), cooperatives legally incorporated in Quebec, as well as recognized indigenous communities and nations or any combination of these groups. Eligible Sectors: - All businesses with a tourism attraction are eligible. Eligibility Criteria: - Registered on the BonjourQuebec.com website if applicable, except for startup projects. - Operate in Quebec. - Hold the "Accredited Quality-Safety" seal from Aventure Écotourisme Québec when required or commit to obtaining it. - Demonstrate profitability prospects. Admissible Projects: - Construction, reconstruction (including demolition of outdated infrastructure), expansion, interior or exterior development, adaptation or reconversion, equipment acquisition or replacement, acquisition of a tourism business, deployment of a new tourism experience. Ineligible Projects: - Tourist lodges, condotels, residences with less than 4 tourist units or businesses renting less than 4 tourist units, residences on the territory of Montreal Island and Quebec City, certain recreational facilities like cycling paths, snowmobiling trails, and golf courses, refurbishment of docks, tourist information offices, retail and dining businesses, hotel-type accommodation establishments, gambling sector, projects relating to alcohol or cannabis sales and consumption, projects already underway before the application date.
