Latest change: The grant content shifted from a 2024 uranium-site decision page to a broader Participant Funding Program page showing a new open opportunity from March 25 to June 16, 2026 with up to $200,000 available.
Participant Funding Program opportunity updated
The main content now presents a general Participant Funding Program page instead of the earlier 2024 decision page for the Regulatory Oversight Report for Uranium Mines, Mills, Historic and Decommissioned Sites in Canada: 2023. The page now shows an open application period of March 25 to June 16, 2026, with up to $200,000 available for Ontario Power Generation’s application to renew its licence for the Western Waste Management Facility. The update also adds clear on-page guidance for who can apply, ineligible applicants, eligible expenses, how to apply, and what happens after application, including the 45 business day decision target and payment within 30 days of a valid final financial report. The supporting resources page and terms-and-conditions page were also adjusted, with some template and survey resources removed and the application form title simplified to Funding Application Form.
