Participant Funding Program opportunity updated
The former Royal Military College of Canada SLOWPOKE-2 licence renewal opportunity is no longer shown on the main program page and has been replaced by broader Participant Funding Program content. The visible open opportunity now runs from March 25 to June 16, 2026, with a maximum amount of $200,000, replacing the earlier August 2022 RMC opportunity with a $15,000 cap. Eligibility, allowable expenses, and scope were broadened to general CNSC project participation, including meetings with CNSC staff, studies, and other engagement activities. The application process now directs applicants to open the opportunity form, follow the guide, sign a contribution agreement if approved, submit required reports, and expect a decision within 45 business days; the terms and conditions page also now points to a different funding-opportunities link path.
