  • Proposed activities are expected to provide new, distinctive and valuable information through informed and topic-specific interventions to the Commission.

How to apply

  • Consult the PFP funding opportunities page to learn more about the project description and access the project-specific application form.
  • Complete the project-specific PFP application form following the detailed instructions provided for the application steps and criteria in the PFP Guide.
  • Submit the completed application form by the deadline stated on the form.

Processing and Agreement

  • If approved, recipients sign a contribution agreement.
  • Recipients use the funding to support their participation in the CNSC process for that project.
  • Recipients submit required reports so eligible expenses can be reimbursed.
  • Recipients must submit receipts and invoices with the Final Financial Report if the maximum amount of funding under the Contribution Agreement exceeds $30,000 or when requested by the CNSC.
  • Recipients are strongly encouraged to retain all receipts for at least three years in the event of an audit.
