Selection criteria
- An independent Funding Review Committee reviews the application and recommends whether funding should be approved, including the amount and any objectives.
- Available funding is distributed among successful applicants based on the merit of their proposals.
How to apply
- Consult the PFP funding opportunities page to learn more about the project description and access the project-specific application form.
- Complete the project-specific PFP application form following the detailed instructions provided for the application steps and criteria in the PFP Guide.
- Submit the completed application form by the deadline stated on the form.
Processing and Agreement
- If approved, recipients sign a contribution agreement.
- Recipients use the funding to support their participation in the CNSC process for that project.
- Recipients submit required reports so eligible expenses can be reimbursed.
- Recipients must submit receipts and invoices with the Final Financial Report if the maximum amount of funding under the Contribution Agreement exceeds $30,000 or when requested by the CNSC.
- Recipients are strongly encouraged to retain all receipts for at least three years in the event of an audit.
