Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Not-for-profit organizations, if one person in the group assumes individual responsibility for signing the contribution agreement and carrying out all terms of the contribution agreement

Selection criteria

  • Available funding will be distributed among successful applicants based on the merit of their proposals.

How to apply

  • Consult the PFP funding opportunities to learn more about the project description and access the project-specific application form.
  • Complete the PFP application form.
  • Before submitting, review, sign and date the form and keep a copy for your records.
  • Submit the PFP application form to the CNSC’s PFP Administrator by email, fax or mail.

Processing and Agreement

  • The PFP administrator notifies applicants within one business day of receiving the application and starts the review and approval process.
  • An independent funding review committee composed of a panel of external experts reviews the application and recommends whether the funding request should be approved, including the amount and any objectives to be met.
  • The CNSC’s final decision is provided within 25 business days of the closing date for the application process.
  • The CNSC issues a contribution agreement to all successful PFP funding applicants.
  • Funding payments are issued once recipients have met the objectives in their contribution agreement, submitted a final financial report, and completed a recipient survey.
