Participant Funding Program updated
The page now presents the general Participant Funding Program instead of the earlier Global First Power Micro Modular Reactor opportunity, and it now lists an open funding opportunity for Ontario Power Generation’s application to renew its licence for the Western Waste Management Facility with a maximum amount of $200,000 and an application period from March 25 to June 16, 2026. The application instructions, eligibility summary, eligible and ineligible expense categories, and post-application process are now shown in a more general program format, including contribution agreements, final financial reports, and payment within 30 days of a valid final report. The supporting form also now appears as “Funding Application Form,” and the former specific contact phone number is no longer shown on the current program page, which directs inquiries to pfp@cnsc-ccsn.gc.ca.
