Participant Funding page updated
The Participant Funding for the Regulatory Oversight Report on the Use of Nuclear Substances in Canada: 2018 notice has been replaced by a general Participant Funding Program page. The page now shows a current open opportunity for Ontario Power Generation’s Western Waste Management Facility licence renewal with a maximum amount of $200,000 and an application period from March 25 to June 16, 2026, alongside updated who-can-apply, eligible-expenses, and how-to-apply information. The page also now describes the application flow, including signing a contribution agreement, submitting required reports, and receiving payment within 30 days of a valid final financial report. The participant funding application form heading has also been simplified to Funding Application Form, and the related link for past opportunities now points to the legacy section.
