Selection criteria

Processing and Agreement

  • The PFP administrator notifies applicants within one business day of receiving the application.
  • An independent Funding Review Committee reviews the application and recommends approval or refusal, including the amount and any objectives.
  • The PFP administrator notifies applicants of the final CNSC decision within 25 business days of the application closing date.
  • Successful applicants receive a contribution agreement and must sign and return it.
  • Funding is paid after recipients meet the contribution agreement objectives, submit a final financial report, and complete the recipient survey; payment is made within 30 days of receipt of a valid final financial report.
