- Applications are assessed on the merit of the proposal.
- Funding applications are expected to provide new, distinctive and valuable information to the Commission.
- Funding may be recommended based on the value-added of the applications received.
How to apply
- Submit an application for a current funding opportunity.
- Complete the Participant Funding Program application form and return it.
- Submit the form by email, mail, or fax to the Participant Funding Program Administrator.
Processing and Agreement
- Funding applications are reviewed by an independent Funding Review Committee.
- The committee makes recommendations to the CNSC on allocation of funding to eligible applicants.
- Successful applicants receive a contribution agreement and must sign and return it.
- Payment is normally made after the deliverable and final financial report are received.
- An advance payment may be issued after approval and a signed contribution agreement.
Additional information
- Incomplete or late funding applications will not be considered.
- Funding applicants with similar proposals are encouraged to work together.
- Recipients are strongly encouraged to retain all receipts for at least three years in case of an audit.
