How to apply

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed by a Funding Review Committee.
  • Applicants will be informed of the outcome within 45 business days of the application closing date, or if there is no closing date, following receipt of a funding application.
  • Successful applicants receive a contribution agreement.
  • Funding is paid after recipients meet the objectives in their contribution agreement and submit a final financial report.
  • Payment will be made within 30 days of receipt of a valid final financial report.

Additional information

  • A signed contribution agreement is required before payment.
  • Documents submitted to the CNSC must be in English or French.
  • Receipts must be kept for at least three years after funding is received.
  • The funded information may become part of the public record.
