- The acquisition costs of the charging stations
- For a charging station under a long-term lease (36 months or more), the total of the monthly payments already made and those remaining
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Installation costs of the charging stations, including connection work
- Administrative fees, delivery fees, and taxes
- Spare parts
- Accessories for the charging stations, such as stand or pedestal, adapter, protective cover, charging port guard, and anti-theft device
- Operating costs for the charging station, including network management, servicing or maintenance fees, and extended warranty fees
Eligible geographic areas
- Québec: individuals must reside in Québec, businesses must operate and have an establishment in Québec, and the building where the project is carried out must be located in Québec.
How to apply
- Prepare the supporting documents and include proof of eligible expenses.
- Create a user account in the Écorecharge online services.
- Complete and submit the online application in the Écorecharge online services.
- If you cannot use the online services, apply by regular mail using the forms provided.
Processing and Agreement
- The program administrator will process your application.
- If corrections or additional information are required, you will be notified by email and must sign in to provide the requested corrections.
- Once your application is approved, you will be notified by email.
- If you are an individual, you must sign in again and enter your Social Insurance Number in the My Notifications tab for the financial assistance to be issued.
- You will receive the reimbursement by cheque by mail within four to six weeks, in a single instalment, and you must keep all related documents for three years after the government incentive is paid.

- An applicant may submit an application for financial assistance for each building they own.
- For the same building, it is possible to apply for financial assistance for each type of project.
