Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • An individual who owns a multiple dwelling building and resides in Québec.
  • A business, including a property developer, a property manager, a building owner, or a condominium syndicate, that operates and has an establishment in Québec.

Who is not eligible

  • Applicants cannot be represented for the submission and processing of their application for financial assistance.

Eligible expenses

  • Fees of an external consultant, typically a consulting engineering firm, a company specializing in energy efficiency, or a firm with expertise in charging infrastructure, for the design of charging solutions, energy assessment, analysis of existing electrical infrastructure, feasibility and equipment optimization study, and energy cost assessment and optimization.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Salaries and expenses of the applicant’s internal staff.
  • Expenses for analyses not related to the areas of activity listed under eligible expenses.
  • Translation fees for analysis documents or reports.

How to apply

  • Check the required supporting documents.
  • Create your account and fully complete your user profile.
  • Log in to the online services and select the Roulez vert / Écorecharge programs.
  • In My Applications, click Create an Application, then choose Charging Station and Residential Multiple Dwelling.
  • Select the building type, indicate whether you are the owner of a multiple dwelling building, enter all required information in the Installation Address and Charging Station tabs, and attach all required supporting documents in the Documents tab.
  • Save the application and click Submit Application.

Processing and Agreement

  • The program administrator will process your application.
  • If corrections or additional information are required, you will be notified by email and must sign in to your account to provide them.
  • Once your application is approved, you will be notified by email.
  • If you are an individual, you must sign in again and enter your Social Insurance Number in the My Notifications tab; this step is mandatory for payment issuance.
  • You will receive your reimbursement by cheque by mail within four to six weeks, and you must keep all documents and supporting documents for three years after the government incentive is paid.
