- Businesses that have ceased operations or gone bankrupt within 40 days of submitting their application.

- Businesses located in the Montreal agglomeration, in an area designated as being affected by major works conducted by the City of Montreal, a related city, or the Société de transport de Montréal (STM).
Additional information
- The subsidy is calculated based on the reduction in the business’s gross profit during the affected period.
- A single funding request can cover all applicable fiscal years at the end of a project, or separate requests can be filed for each eligible fiscal year.
- Applicants have a limited time after completion of the construction work to submit their application.
- An additional lump-sum subsidy of $5,000 is available for qualifying businesses affected by major projects, separate from the main assistance program.
