- For Volet I, the list of organizations to be met, with a short description of their mandate and the reasons for a future partnership.
- For Volet IV, a signed letter from the pan-Canadian coapplicant confirming its contribution to the project and financing.

Who is eligible?
- Duly registered Canadian organizations with head office in Quebec or another province or territory.
- Non-profit organizations.
- School, health, and social services institutions.
- Public or parapublic organizations, excluding ministries and budgetary organizations.
- Businesses and municipalities.
Who is not eligible
- Individuals.
- Ministries, budgetary organizations, state-owned corporations, and government-controlled companies.
- Political parties, recognized party instances, and political education organizations.
- Organizations listed in the RENA register, organizations that failed to comply with previous funding reporting obligations, and organizations that do not comply with the Charter of the French language.
Eligible expenses
- Stay expenses, including accommodation and meals.
- Reasonable travel within Canada.
- Local transport within the same province.
- Registration fees for colloquia, congresses, and similar events.
- Promotion and communication costs directly related to the activities; equipment or premises rental; material or equipment purchases; salaries and honoraria for people hired for the project; and administrative costs up to 10% of total eligible expenses.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Current operating expenses, except salaries and honoraria for staff directly assigned to the project.
- Property purchase or construction, premises renovation, debt financing, and repayment of existing or future loans.
- Purchase of movable property.
- Travel and stay expenses outside Canada, business-class or first-class travel, airline points, mobile phone and data plans, wireless network fees, vaccinations, travel insurance, artist fees, and banquet or alcohol expenses.
- Expenses incurred before the application was submitted.

Selection criteria
- Relevance of the project to the program objectives, originality or innovation, and effects in the Canadian Francophonie, Quebec, and the relevant sector.
- Volet I: number and relevance of the organizations met, and relevance of the partnership sought.
- Volet II: expert qualifications, relevance of the event, and the link between the expertise and the event program.
- Volets III and IV: quality of collaboration between the applicant and coapplicant(s), and the project's reach in several Francophone and Acadian communities or its impact on French in Canada.
- Quality of the application, financial structure, and visibility, including clarity, a realistic schedule, a realistic budget, diversified funding, applicant contribution, number of people reached, and visibility for the Quebec government.
How to apply
- Submit the application on the MLF online Francophonie canadienne grants platform.
- In the electronic application form, under tab 3 Appel à projets, select Appel à projets Québec Île-du-Prince-Édouard.
- In the budget forecast form, indicate the amounts requested from each government, which are generally similar.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed using the information provided in the file, the opinion of the relevant Quebec offices in Canada, and, where applicable, relevant sector ministries.
- A response letter is issued within 60 working days for a complete and compliant application.
- If the project is approved, the beneficiary must carry it out as described and seek approval for any significant change.
- Final reports are due no later than three months after the project end date; multi-year projects also require an annual progress report.
- The final payment is conditional on submitting the data needed to assess program results through the final report.
