Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Export-ready Canadian companies from the agriculture, agri-food, fish and seafood sectors.
  • Official agents, brokers and representatives, with conditions, to represent the interest of Canadian companies and products at Flagship events.

Eligible expenses

  • Standard booth furnishings

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Travel costs.
  • Hotel costs.
  • Per diem costs.

Selection criteria

  • The program operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Priority is given to Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs).
  • Additional consideration is given to first-time exhibitors, companies entering new markets and companies with innovative products.

How to apply

  • Review the list of Flagship Trade shows and email mas-sam.aac@agr.gc.ca with the shows of interest.
  • A project officer will contact the company with further details and add it to the recruitment list.
  • Use the registration link from the project officer to register for one booth.
  • On the booth registration page, indicate whether you would like to be considered for a Corner Booth or a Double Booth.
  • If the show is sold out, sign up for the waitlist.

Processing and Agreement

  • Registration is reviewed to ensure that the company meets eligibility requirements.
  • Within 72 hours of submitting registration, applicants receive an email confirming if it has been approved or declined.
  • If space becomes available, the first company on the waitlist receives an email and has 48 hours to register its booth.
  • After approval, an invoice is emailed from noreply@etouches.com.
  • Payment is due within 15 days of receipt of invoice, or the booth is forfeited and made available again.

Additional information

  • AAFC is committed to achieving its Service Standards a minimum of 80% of the time under normal circumstances.
  • Performance data is collected on a quarterly basis throughout each fiscal year and reported publicly through the annual Service Standards Report.
