Eligibility criteria
Eligibility criteria for this grant include:
- Projects must aim to increase sector development of environmental information and benchmarking.
- Applicants must be able to provide information needed to build capacity and enhance the sector's development.
- Activities must support sector-led efforts such as seminars and conferences.
- Projects should focus on improving farm management and delivering farm safety information.

- Skills development and knowledge transfer activities
- National farm safety strategies and resources
- Business management and planning capacity building
- Environmental practices and sustainability initiatives
- Public trust and consumer education projects

There are eligible projects and activities for this grant. The AgriCompetitiveness Program supports projects that aim to increase sector development, provide information for capacity building, nurture entrepreneurship, deliver farm safety information, and promote mental health and public trust. Eligible activities include:
- Producer-oriented seminars and conferences
- National agricultural fairs and exhibitions
- Industry best practices identification
- Skill and knowledge sharing
- Risk management activities
- Business management and planning capacity development
- Leadership development and knowledge transfer
- Engagement with Indigenous Peoples and other marginalized groups
Evaluation & selection criteria
