Eligible employers for the Canada-Alberta Job Grant must have current or potential employees needing training for current or future positions. Eligible trainees must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected individuals entitled to work in Canada.
  • Eligible employers must be private sector, non-profit sector, First Nations, Metis Settlements, or specific corporations.
  • Trainees must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected individuals entitled to work in Canada.
  • Ineligible trainees include company owners of businesses with more than 4 employees and temporary foreign workers.

  • Demonstration of employer's commitment to contribute financially to the training costs
