Roulez vert — Home charging station

• Vehicle VIN and registration number.
• Vehicle registration certificate or SAAQ “Service received” document.
• Charging station invoice or long-term lease agreement.
• Installation invoice, or photos if no electrician invoice is required.

Who is eligible?

• Individuals who own or long-term lease an electric vehicle.
• Owners of fully electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid vehicles, or electric motorcycles.

Eligible expenses

• Purchase or long-term lease of an eligible charging station.
• Installation work and related electrical infrastructure.
• Installation labour and necessary materials.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

• Expenses incurred during the program suspension from February 1 to March 31, 2025.
• Delivery fees, accessories, and warranty fees.
• Purchase of a used charging station.

• Step 1: Prepare supporting documents
  • Gather vehicle information and proof of purchase or lease.
  • Prepare the installation proof or photos if applicable.
• Step 2: Apply online
  • Log in to the Roulez vert online services.
  • Create a user account if needed.
  • Enter the required information and upload documents.
  • Submit the application to the administrator.
• Step 3: Apply by mail if needed
  • Complete and sign the paper form.
  • Mail it with copies of the required supporting documents.
• Step 4: Follow up after submission
  • Check email for requests for additional information.
  • Log back in to provide corrections if requested.
  • After approval, enter your SIN in the online services.

• If additional information is needed, you will be notified by email.
• You must log in to your online file to make any requested corrections.
• Once approved, you will be notified by email.
• You must enter your SIN in the online services before the payment is issued.
• The reimbursement is sent by cheque by mail.

• The Roulez vert program will be temporarily suspended from February 1st to March 31st, 2025, during which expenses are not eligible for financial aid.
• An online account is necessary for application submission; existing users can use the same account if they have previously applied for an electric vehicle rebate.
• If you already have a 240-volt outlet compliant with regulations, you may not need an electrician for installation.
• Applications are submitted online, and any missing documents or information will prompt a notification for correction via email.
• After approval, applicants will need to provide their Social Insurance Number online to receive the financial aid, which will be sent as a cheque within 4 to 6 weeks.
