Documents Needed

  • The complete, signed vehicle purchase or leasing contract that indicates your name and address.
  • The description of the new vehicle.
  • The Service received document obtained when the vehicle was registered with the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ); the registration certificate alone is not accepted.
  • Any other document with information deemed relevant to the analysis of your application, such as the configuration of the vehicle; if you acquired the vehicle from a dealer outside Québec, a vehicle history report such as the Carfax Vehicle History Report.
  • For a used vehicle application, the Vehicle file and the proof of inspection of the battery’s residual capacity.

  • Charging station accessories, electricity costs, and maintenance fees.
  • Taxes on ineligible expense items.

How to apply

  • Create your account and completely fill out your user profile in the online services.
  • If offered, obtain the rebate through your dealer; only partner car dealers established in Québec offer this service.
  • If your dealer does not offer the service, if you acquire the vehicle in another Canadian province, or if you deal directly with the automaker, submit the application using the online services.
  • Append the required supporting documents, save the application, and click Submit the application.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed for completeness and compliance.
  • Corrections or additional information may be requested by email.
  • Approved applications move to payment.
  • Payment is issued after approval, or the application may be refused if non-compliant.
