The Saint-Joseph-du-Lac Green Responsibility Fund supports innovative, environmentally focused projects that benefit the community, offering up to $15,000 per project. Eligible activities include studies, awareness initiatives, events, and both small-scale and large-scale actions aligned with local environmental and food-community action plans.

Financing terms and conditions

  • For projects with total costs under $5,000, municipal funding covers up to 75% of eligible expenses.
  • For projects between $5,000 and $30,000, funding covers up to 50% of eligible expenses, with a maximum contribution of $15,000 per project.
  • Financial assistance is disbursed in two installments: 70% upon project approval and 30% after acceptance of the final report.

Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a resident citizen, local entrepreneur, non-profit organization, or an educational institution located in Saint-Joseph-du-Lac.
  • The project must provide a collective benefit and align with the environmental action plan and/or the Community Food Action Plan of Saint-Joseph-du-Lac.
