Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a non-profit organization recognized by the Registraire des entreprises du Québec, or a cooperative that pays no dividends or interest to members.
  • The organization must have its head office in Montreal or offer activities within the city of Montreal.
  • The board of directors must be democratically elected and primarily composed of Montreal residents acting on a volunteer basis.
  • The organization must hold an annual general meeting and be in good standing with government authorities and the City of Montreal.
  • The organization must possess civil liability insurance and demonstrate recognized expertise with the populations targeted by the project.

  • Non-profit organizations (NPOs) recognized by the Registraire des entreprises du Québec
  • Cooperatives not providing dividends or interest on member shares
  • Organizations specializing in leisure activities for people with functional limitations (auditory, intellectual, motor, visual, communication, mental health, developmental disorders, autism spectrum disorders)
  • Organizations or their subsidiaries based in or offering activities within the City of Montreal

Who is not eligible

  • For-profit businesses are not eligible.
  • Organizations not officially recognized as non-profit (NPO) or cooperatives that do not distribute profits or interests to members.
  • Entities without a registered office or activities on the territory of the City of Montréal.
  • Organizations lacking a democratically elected board primarily composed of Montréal residents.
