Eligible expenses

  • Salaries, benefits, and consultant fees directly related to the project.
  • Travel and accommodation within Canada.
  • Hospitality for workshop participants, promotion and communication, evaluation and audit, and insurance for public events.
  • Rental of office space and equipment not normally used in daily operations.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Director’s fees for volunteer board or governing body members.
  • Annual general meetings or regular executive board meetings, including related travel.
  • Ongoing production of newsletters, newspapers, magazines, journals, or radio and television broadcasts.
  • Capital costs or expenditures.
  • In-kind expenses.

  • Recipients are required to maintain relevant records for five years for potential audits or program evaluations.
