Project Funding for organizations deadline updated
The Project Funding for organizations page now shows a new deadline of August 19, 2026 at 17 h, replacing the previous February 25, 2026 date. The program schedule now lists three calls for applications on November 12, 2025, February 26, 2026, and August 19, 2026, and the project completion note now says the project must not be completed before November 2, 2026. The information-session registration link also changed, and the eligibility/project-type language was adjusted slightly, including production support in the double-mandate examples and an added inadmissibility exception for organizations whose application has been declared inadmissible by the CAM.

Who is eligible?
- Incorporated non-profit organizations.
- Non-dividend artist cooperatives.

- Individual artists.
- Artists’ collectives.
- Organizations incorporated as general or limited partnerships.
- Organizations that receive operations support from the Conseil’s General Funding Program.
- Public or para-public organizations representing governments or municipal corporations.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Sound recording projects of a promotional and/or commercial nature, at every stage of album production, including pre-production, recording, editing, mixing and mastering.
- Creative writing projects, including research, writing or editing projects.
- Projects mainly focused on cultural mediation.
- Film, video or web production projects, from research and scriptwriting to post-production.
- Projects primarily intended for training, internships or masterclasses.

Selection criteria
- Artistic merit (60%): project quality, consistency with the organization’s mandate and artistic orientations, and originality of past projects.
- Contribution to community development and public outreach (20%): audience outreach strategies, community impact, and dissemination potential.
- Management and administration (20%): feasibility, realistic budget forecasts, financial stability, governance, and partnerships.
- Strategic impact priorities: equity and representation, local outreach, and eco-responsibility, with maximum points for each.
How to apply
- Choose one of the three yearly calls for applications.
- Prepare the ORORA application form in French.
- Include the detailed project description and the budget.
- Attach the required documents if they are not already on the organization’s ORORA profile.
- Submit the application through ORORA.
Processing and Agreement
- The Conseil processes applications and makes decisions in about twelve to fourteen weeks after the application deadline.
- Applicants receive the decision by email and are invited to view the results on ORORA.
- The Conseil’s decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
- Organizations must submit a final project report on ORORA within four months after the end of the project.
- Organizations may not submit new requests if the required reports have not been produced within the required deadlines.

- Three calls for applications are scheduled each year: on November 12, 2025, on February 26, 2026 and August 19, 2026.
- Applications are submitted through the ORORA portal.
- The decision time is twelve to fourteen weeks after the application deadline.
- The grant is paid in one payment, after the decision letter has been sent.
