Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the Ontario Creates Industry Development Program grant are as follows: 1. Applicants must be Ontario-based established trade and event organizations in the book, magazine, film, television, or interactive digital media sectors. 2. Projects must offer initiatives, events, or activities with long-term impacts on growth and sustainability in the specified sectors. 3. The project planning must start no later than 3 months after the application deadline, and the project must be completed within 12 months. 4. Organizations can apply for funding in the Business Development or Capacity Building streams. 5. Priority areas for 2024-25 include professional development, environmental sustainability, and accessibility initiatives. 6. The program aims to expand skills, business capacity, market share, sales, and innovation for Ontario companies in the creative content industries. 7. Applicants must contact the program consultant before submitting an application to discuss eligibility. 8. Only one project can be included per application, but multiple applications can be submitted per deadline. 9. Late applications will not be considered, and all submissions must be through the Ontario Creates Online Application Portal. 10. - Complete a request form to schedule a consultation call.
Review Guidelines
Attend Information Session
- Register online to attend the webinar conducted by Ontario Creates to understand program specifics.
- Submit registration by 5:00 PM on the day prior to the webinar.
- Request for a French session if needed by the specified date.
Application Preparation
- Prepare your application, ensuring it includes all necessary information and documents as per the guidelines.
- Only one project should be included per application, but multiple applications are allowed per deadline.
Submit Application
- Log into the Ontario Creates Online Application Portal (OAP).
- Upload all required documents and complete the application form.
- Submit the application by the specified deadline; late applications will not be considered.
