Receive $15,000 to cover up to 50% of the total eligible costs for your film and television production company to participate in international activities that support its growth and that produce measurable business and market development results.

How to apply

Complete Registration

Register your company’s corporate information with the Ontario Creates Online Application Portal (OAP).
If you do not have a user account, go to the OAP website and click on “Register”.

Participate in Information Session

Register for the webinar scheduled on April 10, 2024, if desired or necessary.
Send a request for a session in French if required, or communicate any accessibility needs.

Prepare Application Documents

Review the Global Market Development Program Guidelines thoroughly.
Gather all necessary documents including the GMD Activity Calculator and Applicant Affidavit.
Ensure your planned activities align with the pre-approved activities list.

Start New Application

Log into your OAP account where the Global Market Development program deadline appears on your dashboard.
Click on “Start new application” and follow the onscreen instructions to access the application form.

Submit Application

Complete and upload all required information and documents through the Ontario Creates Online Application Portal before the deadline.
Submit the application by Monday, May 7, 2024, at 5:00 PM ET.

Receive confirmation of submission including an application number.
