Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed by Norfolk County staff after submission.
- For most incentives, the Director of Strategic Innovation and Economic Development reviews and approves the application.
- For the Brownfield Tax Increment Grant, approval is decided by Council.
- The applicant is notified of the review timeline for Council consideration where applicable.
- Funding is initiated after Planning approval or after the building permit is issued.
Additional information
- Applicants must enter an agreement with Norfolk County before funding is paid.
- The grant is not retroactive for work started before approval.
