Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed by Norfolk County staff after submission.
- For Brownfield Tax Increment Grants, approval is decided by Council.
- For other incentives, the Director of Strategic Innovation and Economic Development approves the application.
- A grant agreement must be in place before work starts.
- Grants can be reduced or cancelled if the work is not completed or invoices are unpaid.
Additional information
- All 2025 funding has been fully allocated and the program is closed.
- Approved grants are not transferable to another property, but may transfer to a new owner of the approved property.
- Projects and grants may be subject to public disclosure by Norfolk County.
