How to apply

  • Step 1: Complete the application form
    • Fill out the Excel form.
    • Use the required file naming format.
  • Step 2: Prepare supporting documents
    • Complete and sign the required tabs.
    • Attach the annual report, if applicable.
    • Provide requested sound-recording information if asked.
  • Step 3: Submit by email
    • Send the application electronically to inscription@musicaction.ca.
    • Ensure all required documents are received by the deadline.
  • Step 4: Submit completion documents after the project
    • Send the completion package by email within 3 months after the activity ends.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed by Musicaction using an evaluation grid.
  • Approval depends on the applicant’s financial capacity.
  • If approved, a funding contract is signed before payment.
  • Final payment is released after the completion review.
  • Musicaction may request participant feedback or activity evaluation.

Additional information

  • Priority is given to projects involving Indigenous or minority communities.
  • The applicant may submit only one project at a time.
  • The project and related promotional material must not contain illegal or hateful content.
