Documents Needed

  • Completed and signed financial assistance application form (Excel format)
  • Copy of the request for proposals document describing objectives, methodology, timeline and deliverables
  • Two professional service offers (consultant quotes)
  • Board resolution or equivalent authorizing the signatory
  • OQLF compliance attestation or certificate, where applicable

Eligibility

  • Be a legally constituted organization under Quebec or Canadian law doing business in Quebec
  • Belong to an eligible clientele (tourism business OBL/OBNL/coop, municipal entity, Indigenous community/organization, regional tourism association, or grouping of these)
  • For tourism accommodation operators, comply with applicable laws and regulations and hold a valid registration number
  • For nature and adventure tourism businesses, demonstrate compliance with or commitment to the Qualité-Sécurité program of Aventure Écotourisme Québec
  • Have fulfilled commitments linked to any previous subsidy from the program partners, where applicable

  • Non-profit tourism organizations (OBNL)
  • Tourism cooperatives
  • Municipal entities in Quebec
  • Recognized Indigenous communities, nations, organizations and tourism enterprises
  • Regional tourism associations with financial partners
  • Groupings of any of the eligible clienteles

Who is not eligible

  • Quebec and Canadian government departments, agencies and state-owned enterprises
  • Applicants listed in the Register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts
  • Enterprises not compliant with the OQLF francization process

Eligible expenses

  • Professional fees of specialized firms or consultants for specific studies on tourism offer development or targeted business support
  • Net taxes related to eligible direct costs (excluding refundable portions)

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Salaries, operating expenses and ongoing management costs
  • Working capital, debt service, operating or capital losses and capital buyback
  • Costs related to bringing assets up to standard, asset maintenance and regulatory compliance
  • Transfer of assets, in-kind or service contributions, and usual maintenance or administration expenses
  • Financing costs, lobbyist fees, promotion/marketing, cost overruns, legal fees and taxes that are refundable

  • Organizations doing business in Quebec and eligible under the EPRTNT 2025-2027 agreement

  • Alignment with EPRTNT 2025-2027 objectives
  • Structuring impact and regional spin-offs, including interregional attraction and partnerships
  • Innovative character and quality of concept, products and services
  • Financial structure, feasibility and quality of business plan or study brief
  • Integration of sustainable development principles and strategic alignment with Tourisme Montérégie

How to apply

  • Step 1: Pre-admissibility form
    • Complete the online pre-admissibility form on Tourisme Montérégie’s website under the financial assistance section.
    • Indicate organization details, project description, category, estimated costs and funding structure.
  • Step 2: Eligibility confirmation and documentation
    • If the project is deemed admissible, receive from Tourisme Montérégie all documents required to submit a full application.
  • Step 3: Prepare full application
    • Fill out the EPRTNT 25-27 financial assistance application form for the Montérégie region.
    • Gather all required supporting documents listed for the program.
  • Step 4: Submit application
    • Send the completed application form and all required documents by email to eprtnt@monteregie.ca before the deadline.

Additional information

  • A second call for projects will take place from January 9, 2026, 9:00 a.m. to March 20, 2026, 4:59 p.m.
  • If required documents are missing at the submission deadline, the application will be deemed incomplete and ineligible.
  • The pre-admissibility form will be locked as of March 18, 2026.
  • The financial contribution is non-repayable and subject to cumulative public aid limits.
