Documents Needed

  • Completed and signed application form in Excel format
  • Complete business plan for the digital development project
  • Most recent financial statements for the last two years (except for start-ups, municipal entities and Indigenous communities)
  • Three-year financial projections following project completion (except for municipal entities and Indigenous communities)
  • Board resolution authorizing the signatory for the funding application and related documents
  • OQLF attestation or certificate confirming francization compliance, if the organization employs 25 or more people for six months
  • Confirmation letters from financial partners, if available
  • Proof of Qualité-Sécurité certification or engagement for nature and adventure tourism businesses, if applicable
  • Indigenous certificate or certification confirming Indigenous status of the organization, if applicable

Eligibility

  • Applicant must be a tourism business, municipal entity, Indigenous community/nation, or a grouping of these clienteles.
  • Organization must be legally constituted under Quebec or Canadian law and conduct business in Quebec.
  • Previously funded organizations must have honoured all past commitments to program partners.
  • Tourist accommodation operators must comply with applicable laws and hold a valid registration number.
  • Nature and adventure tourism businesses must comply with, or formally commit to, the Qualité‑Sécurité d’Aventure Écotourisme Québec program.

Who is eligible?

  • Tourism businesses operating in the Montérégie region.
  • For‑profit organizations (OBL) active in tourism.
  • Non‑profit organizations (OBNL) and tourism cooperatives.
  • Municipal entities involved in tourism development.
  • Indigenous communities, nations and Indigenous tourism enterprises.
  • Groupings or partnerships of the above eligible clienteles.

Who is not eligible

  • Provincial and federal Crown corporations, ministries and government agencies.
  • Applicants listed in the Register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts.
  • Enterprises not compliant with the francization process of the Office québécois de la langue française.

Eligible expenses

  • Professional fees for support and implementation of digital solutions.
  • Purchase of technological or other equipment required to use the solution.
  • First subscription (up to 24 months) to cloud services linked to the solution.
  • Purchase of hardware, software or mobile applications to increase digital interaction with clients.
  • Purchase of integrated management software and e‑commerce software.
  • Travel, overhead, salaries and benefits directly tied to the digital project.
  • Professional fees for training or upskilling staff responsible for the digital project.
  • Net taxes (non‑refundable portions) related to eligible costs.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Regular salaries, operating and management expenses not specifically tied to the project.
  • Purchase or rental of land, buildings, installations or capital equipment.
  • Bandwidth, business solution operating fees, recurring operating costs and server room setup.
  • Working capital, debt service, operating losses, capital losses, capital buy‑back and cost overruns.
  • Compliance upgrades, asset maintenance, refundable portions of sales taxes and costs eligible for reimbursement elsewhere.
  • Asset transfers, donations and in‑kind or service contributions.
  • Financing costs, legal fees and remuneration of lobbyists.
  • Costs committed before application submission, except project design fees.

  • Tourism organizations doing business in Quebec, specifically on the territory of Montérégie.

  • Alignment with the overall objectives of the EPRTNT 2025‑2027.
  • Structuring impact, including attraction power, territorial reach, economic spin‑offs and job creation.
  • Innovative nature and quality of concepts, products and services.
  • Sound and balanced financial structure, including realism of the financing plan and confirmed partners.
  • Project relevance, feasibility, regional impact, sustainable development approach, eco‑responsible measures and enhancement of visitor reception.

How to apply

  • Step 1: Complete pre-admissibility form
    • Fill out the online pre-admissibility form in the Financial Assistance section on the Tourisme Montérégie website.
    • Provide organizational details, project description, estimated costs and information on available matching funds.
  • Step 2: Receive application package
    • If the project is deemed eligible at pre-admissibility, receive all required application documents from Tourisme Montérégie.
  • Step 3: Prepare full application
    • Complete the EPRTNT 2025‑2027 financial assistance application form for the Montérégie region.
    • Assemble all required supporting documents listed for the program.
  • Step 4: Submit application
    • Send the completed application form and all required documents by email to eprtnt@monteregie.ca before the deadline.

Additional information

  • A second call for projects runs from January 9, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. to March 20, 2026, at 4:59 p.m.
  • The pre-admissibility form will be locked as of March 18, 2026.
  • Incomplete applications at the deadline are considered ineligible.
  • Projects are assessed with particular attention to sustainable and responsible tourism practices.
